Central Stadium of Almaty

In the heart of Almaty is the Central Stadium, one of the largest sports facilities in Kazakhstan. The facility was built in 1958 and is an oval structure with four stands - north, west, south and east, designed for 23,804 spectators. All seats are made of plastic and have backrests at least 38 cm high. Thanks to modern lighting systems, the stadium can host events even in the evening. The playing field is 105 meters long and 68 meters wide.

The Central Stadium is the home arena for the Kairat Football Club and the Kazakhstan national team. Its infrastructure includes both large and small arenas, running tracks, sections for various sports and specialized halls for boxing, wrestling and fencing.
